“ Traditionelles Wirtshausflair. Kleine Gaststube, die komplett gefüllt war, in der wir uns aber sehr wohlfühlten. Essen zu Preisen, wie man sie selten auf solch moderatem Niveau findet. Wir aßen einen Sauerbraten mit Knödeln. Sehr lecker vom Fleisch, über die Knödel bis zur Soße. Ein kleiner gemischter Salat war inbegriffen. Essingen liegt nicht gerade in der Nachbarschaft von uns, doch wir denken wiederzukommen. Denn wir empfanden den Besuch im Bären definitiv lohnenswert. ”

“ Urige Atmosphäre. Alles aber leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Renovierung wäre schön. Aber sauber und ordentlich. Service sehr nett und aufmerksam. Der Beilagensalat war frisch und groß mit vielen verschiedenen Salaten. Geschmacklich gut, das Dressing könnte aber etwas würziger, moderner sein. Der Hauptgang war Schnitzel mit Pommes. Das Schnitzel war frisch gemacht und ordentlich groß. Es hätte besser gewürzt sein können und die Panade knusprigen. Die Pommes waren perfekt. Goldbraun und gut gewürzt. Preis Leisung stimmt. Das Essen ist klassisch und gut. Könnte aber hier und da besser sein. ”
“ Dies ist ein uriges schwäbisches Gasthaus. Es gab sogar vorab eine Suppe als „Gruss aus der Küche“. Das Essen selbst war gut und reichlich und zudem preislich auch in Ordnung. Der Service klappte sehr gut, obwohl die Bedienung alles alleine erledigen musste. Alles war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir kommen gerne wieder. ”
